Now common in areas of building restoration and sites of interest, aesthetic carpentry is gaining ground in enhancing the exteriors of country houses with taste.

Often it happens to encounter aesthetic carpentry applications. From the ancient castle to the public building converted into an exhibition space, this type of application synonymous with the point of union between the primordial material and technologically advanced processing with what comes from the past and its contemporary reinterpretation.
With the idea of Cristina Soldati and OASS, the solution is also a winner for applications on the exteriors of country houses.
One day Cristina calls us at the company saying that she would like to put a tree on the main facade of her new home. Construction work on her beautiful country house in the province of Bologna has just begun and she would like a beautiful, natural-height corten sheet tree to be an integral part of the house. She sends us the scan of the sketch that she had already drawn.

We evaluate the idea with the technicians: to create a work five and a half meters high, four and seventy-five wide, which must withstand wind and other stresses, including its own weight of over 300 kg. . No problem!

The realization translates into an installation consisting of twelve pieces of sheet metal half a centimeter thick for a total of nine hundred kilos of sheet metal to be laser cut.

To ensure precise wall fixing, the joints must not be seen, and a template has been safely provided that allows the installation, with extreme precision, of the twenty-five anchor pins during the construction of the external wall of the house.

The order involved fifteen days of work plus another twenty-five needed for the oxidation process.
