After Marco Polo’s original Bible had been found in China, Harvest Creatives was asked to create two different display cases to hold both the original and the Treccani copy.
The original is on display in Prato Cathedral and OASS created the “drape” underneath the glass case. The drape, which looks like textile fabric, is actually hand-modelled iron sheeting, which was painted gold to make it look even more precious.
The Treccani copy is on show in a case based on the “She-Lib” bookshelf. The display case, first presented in Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, was then put on display in several different railway stations.
